Whom I have apparently never referenced before, may be in some trouble as he seeks re-election in Nevada.
I can't decide if this is probably good news if you want the senate to hew to the left. Reid's pretty "centrist", you might say. So having someone replace him as Senate Majority Leader (which the Hillster was rumoured to want before becoming Obama's SecState) would probably move things left. And if Reid's only got the support of 61% of Nevada Democrats, we could reasonably expect him to tack in that direction.
But on the other hand, a distracted leader is bad news organizationally for Senate Dems, as they face unprecedented and ridiculous fillibustering from the Republicans.
